The cost of redesigning your garden will depend on the size of the area to be redeveloped, how complicated is the design, how many different elements are included and how much labour is involved to build it.

As a very rough guide, it is reasonable to think of a new garden as being equivalent to adding a new room to the house, so think in terms of the cost of a new kitchen or bathroom. Smaller projects within the garden will of course be proportionally less.
